This new Dymond X-ray inspection system accurately detects contaminated products and reliably ejects them from the production line. Both detection and ejection are simultaneously documented so that these data are available over the long term for statistical evaluation of the inspection process.

The list of materials that Dymond can test ranges from metals, also in metallic packaging) to glass, rocks or chips of stone and bone to plastics. In the process, the X-ray inspection system can also check the shape, volume and dimensions of products as well as the fill level and weight. Moreover, the system detects hollow spaces and cracks within a product, such as cavities in cheese.

Powerful performance, intuitive operation and ease of cleaning
Thanks to its entirely modular design and use of top-quality components, the Dymond series achieves maximum detection reliability and flexibility. Thus, Dymond high-grade, air-cooled X-ray tubes create an exceptionally small focal point. In combination with the latest generation of detectors, this significantly improves detection sensitivity. Even at high belt speeds of up to 100 meters per minute, Dymond generates clear, low-noise images.

Intuitive operation is of decisive importance for users’ acceptance of new equipment. The Dymond series is so user-friendly that machine operators do not have to be specially trained to use these inspection systems. Therefore, machine operators can quickly and readily adapt the Dymond system to the specific requirements of their production line.

What’s more, the slanted contours of the stainless steel housing, which consistently rule out flat surfaces where particles can collect, IP65 protection (IP 69k optional) and easy removal of the belts without the need for tools all make cleaning extremely easy, saving companies time and money in the process.

Even Higher Process Reliability
The new Dymond series not only helps ensure that the resulting final products have the quality on which consumers can rely 100%, but also assists in maximizing machine capacity usage. As a result, the Dymond series meets all requirements on an advanced X-ray inspection system and complies with the latest food and pharmaceutical industry standards for quality control.
